Safety in the Field Workshopの募集を開始しました。



■開催概要

【日時】2025年11月11日(火)~14日(金)

【場所】東京・千葉

【使用言語】英語(会話を含め高度な英語力が必要)

【受講料】10,500円~(詳細は下添付資料にて)
【その他】戸外でのフィールド研修が約2割、室内での研修が約8割(予定)

■内容

Call for Applications for Safety in the Field 2025 in Tokyo (Nov 11-14)

 

UNHCR eCentre and JaNISS in partnership with Japan Platform, would like to cordially invite you to the “Safety in the Field” 2025 in Tokyo, Japan.

This workshop complements ongoing humanitarian initiatives and efforts of aid workers to have a better understanding and awareness of personal security in the field, and for NGOs to strengthen their internal security systems which would allow for a robust response and operation continuity in a complex security environment.

 

Title: Safety in the Field

Date: 11-14 November 2025

Place: Tokyo and Chiba, Japan

Application Deadline: 26 September Fri. 2025

 

Applicants Qualification:

・Applicants must be highly proficient in written and spoken English language.

・Applicants are required to participate in all four days (11-14 Nov) of the workshop.

・Applicants are required to have certain work experiences in humanitarian or development activities.

Benefits:

・As some international guest participants from KCOC, AHA Center and NGOs from China will take part, you can enjoy an international training environment.

・Transportation and accommodation of participants from areas other than Metropolitan Tokyo can be supported by JaNISS.

 

Notes:

・In case we receive more applicants than our capacity, we will screen the applications based on the criteria of JaNISS and eCentre.

・Reducing hostility and tension in others
・Special security concern for women
・Stress management and teamwork
